Weak signal strength

Hi Guys!

Before I got the DIR-330, I had a Linksys WRT54GS router.  I do much of my work on a laptop in a barn about 100-150 feet from the router in the house.  When using the Linksys, I always had a strong signal, now with the DIR-330, I always get a weak signal.  Is there anything I can do, or buy to increase the signal strength?
