AV Settings
« on: August 30, 2008, 09:05:45 AM »

Is this normal?????

When I power off the DSM-750 and shut down the computer serving this unit (using TVersity) I loose my resolution settings...it goes back to Auto from the 720p - 60H settings, everything remains.
Once the computer remains on the resolution remains set even when the unit (DSM-750) is turn on/off.

Thanks.

It should remain the same, the PC should not affect the TV resolution. That is odd have you tried it with WMP11 to see if it does it as well?

Yes it does it with WMP11.  Sometimes the PC is on running the UpnP server, I turn off the DSM 750 and turn it on the next day and the settings change to Auto.  This does not happen every time, the settings remain unchanged for a few days and then changes.

The PC doesn't not affect any settings on the DSM-750 that doesn't make sense the only thing that would affect the Auto Video resolution would be your TV. I am not able to replicate this issue I am sorry perhaps someone else will join in and have some insight or be having the same issue. The DSM-750 will set its resolution from your TV not your PC.
