I do understand everyones frustrations with DLink and some of the HW. I have been in contact with DLink and do believe that 90% of the issues see on here are user configuration problems. Not Hardware. Yes, I fully agree that there are some HW issues out there. However we are here to try and help identify the issues with users and the hw and to see if we can troubleshoot as far as we can before having the user go back to DLink or return the HW and choose something else. Its in this troubleshooting that we can help identify and narrow down issues in configuration and most of the time, can be resolved. Yes I do have an Airport Extreme router. It's used as an AP only. I use a DGL-4500 for my main router and and a NG 3700 router also configured as an AP in my living room. Ya, i've done some different things and use different things to see what works best for my needs. The main goal for us here is to just help people get there stuff going and working well. And if we can't then, we gave it our best try and hope the user will find something else or find resolution with DLink.
I
wish DLink would help us out more here on the boards. Trust me, they are watching the boards. I recommend this. Look for the moderator signatures and send them a PM. They might not answer, just depends on how busy they are as they have other jobs at DLink. Be detailed in your PM and tactful. You never know, might get you a response, and if you don't get an immediate response, be patient. Then try once more after that.
Not to bash any one OEM however have you been to the NG forums lately? Theres alot more going on there than here. And NG doesn't watch there forums or manage them.

My 2 cents
