Xegony,

You asked if I had any problem with an "Opps" error page with my router. Nope, the connections have been good, just slower than I had hoped for. Are you getting the error when accessing the router config page or a web site outside your network?

Hi Xegony,

Open Internet Options. Click on Connections. Click on Lan settings. Make sure that nothing is checked or entered in there. Click Ok then click Apply if clickable.

nothing is checked. and i can get internet access and browse page.
the problem is that error page pops up without any notice.
and i am sure that URL i am visiting is not down cos if i open that link in a new window(tab) it works.

Hi Xegony,

Are you regularly cleaning out your \Temp Folders and \Temp Internet Files? You need to use Disk Cleanup, then manually delete the rest of the sub-folders and files within your \Temp Folders in your User ID and \Windows\Temp.

i dont think its caused by the cache files as my ipad encounters the same problem.
as i mentioned before the page comes with a dir655 pic and a dlink logo,
so i am quite sure this issue is caused by the router.

Hi FurryNutz,

Where do you find the Advanced DNS services on the DIR-655 Unit?

http://support.dlink.com/emulators/dir655/133NA/WAN.html

Not sure if this holds true for all HW revs.

Are the Primary and 2ndary DNS IP addresses being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual? Just curious. I've noticed that sometimes they don't.

Hi FurryNutz,

That option is not available for the Firmware 1.21 w/ SecureSpot. SecureSpot is not active.
