Problems with Bluewin TV
« on: September 24, 2008, 01:05:44 PM »

Hi There

I got problems with IPTV... the Tv Streams starts... until 20 sec the streams stops. I changed the router and connected the streambox directly, this works fine.

any ideas how i have to configure the dir-655 that IPTV works fine? i try'd to setup a port forwarding, dmz, QOS prio... nothing works... same problem anytimes...

stream is starting (led's are blinking on the router)... 10 sec the led's on the router stops to blink and the tv streams stops t work. if i switch the channel on the tv stream box, the channel is streaming 10 sec and then the same...

regards

Kirsy,

When your router is in play and you go to a website like youtube.com do you experience the same issue as far as streaming? I would try to lower the MTU to 1492 and see if that makes a difference. Also what firmware version are you running on the router?

Does the streambox allow any configuration?

no, the streambox connects over a VDSL router to a IPtV Service (Bluewin TV)

It's a Cisco Box!

i got a Linksys wrt610-n here, via this router the stream works, but i got other problems with this one, so i want use the dlink ...

Try disabling SPI on the router and also set the Endpoints to 'Independent' for both UDP and TCP

That can be found under Advanced>>>Firewall Settings
