Unable to Access NAS
« on: October 08, 2008, 05:08:32 PM »

Hi all.  Just received my new DSM-750.  Everything is working fine in Windows Media Extender Mode.  However, in Media Lounge mode, I am unable to access anything on my NAS.  The thing is, I can see the NAS listed under "My Media", but when I attempt to access it, it attempts to load for 10 seconds or so, then I receive an error, "This Folder Cannot Be Accessed".

UPnP is enabled on the NAS, and I have no issues accessing content on my PS3, or any other networked PC.  I have tried both wired and wireless, and I get the same error no matter what.

Any ideas?  I'm not sure if it's something with the DSM-750, or the NAS (ReadyNAS DUO), or perhaps my router?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Found the solution.

The standard ReadyNAS UPnP server is just not compatible with the DSM-750 as of yet.  Perhaps in the future, as they upgrade the firmware.  I had to install TwonkyMedia's UPnP server for ReadyNAS.  Works like a charm now.
