I am the new owner of a DNS321, and would like to upgrade the firmware (from version 1.0). I searched the support site and found a 321/323 page, downloaded the latest firmware (1.0.5) and found my unit did not accept it.

Is there a separate location for 321 firmware?

Unfortunately the DNS-321 does not have any new firmware for you to upgrade

This is the second time I've seen a 321/323 support page mentioned - but I've never seen it - I can find this DNS-321 support page which has no firmware available (yet) and this DNS-323 support page

What do you see in the top left corner of that page?  Does it say DNS-321 or even DNS-321/323?

No - it doesn't - it clearly says DNS-323.
Where on that page does it suggest that anything on it is for the DNS-321?

...good question. D-Link refers to this page when searching for firmware for the 321. Like you, I did not see any reference to 321 at all. I tired the 1.0.5 firmware on my 321, with negative results. As previously posted in this thread, there are no firmware upgrades at this time for the 321.
