Am unable to connect my wirleless x6570 lexmark to my dgl 4500. My printer is not picking up my network it just show a ?.

Can someone help me with this problem thank u

Not familiar with the printer.  Are you trying to connect it via wired or wireless?
If you are connecting it via wireless, what encryption are you using if any at all?  What are your wireless settings that you are currently using?

Answer that so we can further help you.

connected to internet with wireless. using wpa security. printer cannot see router. my network brad says signal strength ?. also ps3 cannot see router.

List out your wireless settings as we mentioned earlier.

By chance do you have the SSID Broadcast set to Visible or Invisible? If Invisible, this is more than likely why your printer gives you just a ?.

 Also check the encryption the printer is capable of. My HP only offers WEP. This may be a/the problem. I only had a little problem when I first started setting up the router as I am new to wireless interface to a router. Before getting the DGL-4500 we ran a wired network with an AD-HOC connection to the HP printer. That brings up another thing to check. Check your printer to see if it is set to AD-HOC computer to computer mode. I believe it should be set to Infrastructure.

1. Make sure your SSID is not hidden.

2. Make sure MAC Filtering is turned OFF

3. Disable Wi-Fi Protected Setup

4. If you are using wireless encryption, try WEP as it is the most compatible.
