From 300Mps to 54Mps ?
« on: December 03, 2008, 06:20:42 PM »

For some odd reason, my card now shows 54Mps >:(  when it was always at 300Mps prior.

I have no idea why this happened or how ???, but it's still at 54Mps with 121B firmware on the DIR 655.

Any ideas? ???

OS= Skinkin' Win2K

Do you have more than one computer connected wirelessly?

If so make sure all of your computers that are connected wirelessly have an 802.11N Adapter or 802.11N Internal Adapter.

Here is a link for the reason why.

http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=2585&question=DWA-142%20/%20DWA-542%20/%20DWA-552%20/%20DWA-556%20/DWA-642%20/%20DWA-643%20/%20DWA-645%20/%20DWA-652%20/%20DSM-750%20/%20DAP-1555%20/%20DAP-1522

If you do not have another computer connected wirelessly check and make sure you have security on your network you may have a neighbor that is connecting to your internet if it is unsecure.
