Printer stops printing halfway

just got the DNS-323 and trying to configure the print server.
Seems to work when i do a "Print Test Page" but stops in the middle and i have to unplug the printer to reset the printer.  Plus i clear the queue.

I tried it on two XP computers and same results.  I actually got it to print one successfully but after i rebooted the computer it didnt happen again. :(

Have Firmware 1.05 and trying to hookup the Canon MP780 printer function

any help is appreciated
