Nothing is ever final, but a release candidate is around here somewhere.

This you post since weeks!

Costumers are buying a D-Link NAS in order to work and not to test with a D-Link NAS.

Please remember that the last official firmware version 1.05b28 was released at 5. May 2008.

And that is why we are working on releasing this one first above any others. We understand the DNS-323 needs some love too :)

But if D-Link always installs new bugs or overlooked old bugs, then the next versions will never be free of bugs. Since the version 1.05b28 D-Link made minimum ten 1.06 beta builds. All of them have bugs. Like the 1.06b65, there is still a bug in the email alert feature with certian mailaccount names.

Not only the DNS-323 needs some love too, also the thousends of D-Link DNS-323 customers.  :)

So please work quick an give your DNS-323 customers with a functioning and bug free firmware a christmas 2008 gift.  ;)

bug free firmware

Now now, lets be realistic!

Also talking about a bug in a firmware but not actually reporting it or posting how to reproduce it does not help ANYONE.

When there ist no bug in the version 1.06b65, why D-Link is not released the version 1.06b65?

My E-MAIL Account ALERT SETTINGS which are working perfect with the version 1.05b28 are not working with the version 1.06b65.

I tested it with another sender mail-accounts. If the field "User-Name" do not have included a "@" than the test is failed.

Do you want to give me a paid job as a D-Link Firmware tester?  ;)
