does it effect your gameplay / performance?

it makes sniping and using the shotgun much more difficult in call of duty where a tiny time difference matters.

I have seen different threads with dynamic defragmentation turned off and SPI and I just wanted to know if there was a default setting that was best configured for xbox live that I might try out.

Have you tried different configurations of SPI and Dynamic defrag? Does it enhance your reg?

yea turning both of those off helped a lot!  I am afraid to ask if there is anything else that would make it even better that any tinkerers will fill me in on, but yea those two have made it pretty much indiscernible from plugging right into the modem.  Sorry I was gone for so long....gaming!
