My DSM 750 automatically detected this firmware upgrade - so I did it.

Now all my movie files audio and video are no longer in sync.  I am trying to rollback to version 1.01 but i haven't been able to find a way.

Is anyone else having this same issue after upgrading to firmware ver 1.02...or id it just me..

Not Happy here at all...

Thx.

Still unable to play some WVC1 video files (no audio, stuttering video, audio on/off)....still testing.  Will update.

Why can't this be fixed????????

No fix on these issues.  I am still having them, why can't Microsoft and D-Link fix this codec issue (WMV3/WVC1/VC1)?????

Video no audio, video audio on/off, lagging video no audio, out of sync audio...WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY???????

No Flickr. I'd like to know where that is as well.

I think, as part of company policy, that perhaps, just perhaps, D-Link should make of note of this exception in the release notes. It would save much confusion and might help curb the returns that will result because of this.

Having said that, I can't imagine why Flickr isn't available to Canadian residents.  My Canadian money was good enough for them when I opened a pro account.

I use media-lounge mode and have had plenty of luck with mkv containers. So much luck in fact it's now the only container I use. Things I know work are H264 video and AC3 audio - I may have seen AAC audio working too, but don't rely too much on my memory for that  ;)

I use the program "HandBrake" running on Linux to do a lot of my transcoding and to create the MKV files. I have mediatomb as my UPNP server and it provides the mime type video/x-matroska for my mkv files. There are some limitations to the H264 profile that the DSM-750 supports but HandBrake is able to produce working files. There is also a windows version of HandBrake.

Tried Medialounge.. doesn't show MKV's in the directory listings.. still stuck on Tversity.  Running 2 750's and a 323 NAS.. wish they both jived with file compatibilities.. 323 doesn't serve MKV formats.. blocks them out??? ???

Can only directly play MKV's through USB port.. unless connected to Tversity.

Well the hardware or software UPnP AV media server must support mkv format. So unless you have one that supports mkv it can only be server to the DSM-750 via USB direct. Unfortunately the DNS-323 does not support this video file type currently however I did forward a request for this format to be added to the list of supported file types on the UPnP AV media server as soon as I herd the DSM-750 now works with .mkv. We will just have to wait and see what happens in the next update of our NAS devices.
