I connected the DNS-323 to our small business network. I can see and access the DNS-323 from all wired computers on the network, but not our two wireless laptops. You can see the DNS-323 in My Network Places under UNKNOWN and when you click on the drive, it does not connect and return PATH NOT KNOWN.
I spent an hour on the phone with D-Link support (including senior tech) to no avail. Tried a lot of things (laptop can "ping" everything but the DNS-323, tried mapping DNS-323 when connected by wire, then went wireless, checked all settings). Finally, tech suggested that I contact laptop manufacturer for a "work around". However, BOTH laptops (different manufacturers) can't access the DNS-323. I think it may be an issue with wireless laptops accessing the DNS-323.
Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.
Computers (wired and wireless) running XP Home SP2.
