What is this exactly?
what are the additional features provided by this tool?

and...
when I try to associate my DSN3200 the status still in "connecting..." mode forever.
any idea?

I am having the same issue.  What are these features and why is the dsn tool stuck connecting?

Found the reason why it is not connecting.  If you have installed your Advanced Features and then upgraded your Firmware, the system will hang on connecting.  Un-install Xstack Storage Advanced Config and reboot.  Open the management web interface and install again.  This should fix it.  I would still like to know what it does...
