DIR-655 does not connect to internet
« on: January 03, 2009, 08:58:57 AM »

If at all possible I need help as I cannot link to my modem/the internet. I am able to connect/see all throughout my home network but not the net. The router firmware was updated to ver 1.20, lasted about 10 days then suddenly could not connect to the net. Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Have a look at the internet modem, perhaps your IP changed or something.

Hi Bill,

Turn off both your Modem and the Router at the same time. Wait about one minute and turned them both on at the same time, or at least the Modem followed by the Router. If plugged into a Power Strip, just cut the power. Wait one minute and turn the power strip on.

Works fine with the power strip.
