DIR-655 slow connection to DWA-643
« on: July 30, 2007, 07:07:11 PM »

My laptop has a DWA-643 expresscard with win-xp running.  When I connect to my DIR-655, it will only connect in 11-g mode at 54mbs.  I have an hp laptop with built-in 11-n and it does connect at up to 300mbs.  Any ideas on how to fix this.  Both laptops are within 6 feet of the DIR-655?

Thanks!

Bill

802.11N will NOT run at 300 unless you are using WPA2

Here are my Favorite settings with 1.02 FW

I am using fw 1.04.  It does not allow the 11g&N mode you displayed.  I can connect at 300mbs with another laptop, but the one using the dir643 will only connect at 54mbs
