How to schedule DNS to be FTP Client and upload?
« on: January 08, 2009, 07:14:34 PM »

Due to a complicated network situation, I have a need to have my DNS-323 sync all the content of a folder to an offsite datacenter which is running an FTP Server.

Is there an easy way to do this or specifics? When I try to find items on this topic all I get are using the DNS-323 as an FTP server or using the "Download" feature, which allows it to Download files, but not to upload them.

Any suggestions?

I also need an automatic backup of my DNS-323 to another off site DNS-323.

The DNS-323 is not capable of FXPing or transfering to another FTP site. You would need to manage this from a PC.

Maybe use a PC running Allway Sync?  I use it to autobackup PC's to the DNS, but it appears it can backup over the internet as well.
