Increased Packet Errors with Auto 20/40MHz Channel Width
« on: January 11, 2009, 03:49:25 PM »

I am having ~3x as many packet errors with this set. Anyone else experiencing this? Any workarounds or settings to resolve this, other than moving back to 20Mhz?

Looks your wireless NIC does not support 40mHz. No solution in that case other than buying a NIC that supports the 40Mhz channel or set it to 20 Mhz.

This is probably normal.  With 20/40 turned on, you're monitoring signals in about 72 MHz of spectrum.  With 20 MHz channels, you're receiving about 25 MHz.
