any idea why the product has been discontinued?

any idea why the product has been discontinued?  ??? both at neweggs and at Fry's  :-\

and since ordering from D-Link shop is so costly, where would be a good place to order it from?
I know there are some of the older BAD units still circulating out there, amazon.com is one of those places. What would be the cheapest safe place to order it from?

It is not discontinued it may just be out of stock at this time. You can still order them online at:

well both Newegg and fry's make it pretty clear when the say "it has been deactivated or discontinued", they dont say "its out of stock"...

P.S. Ups, i take that back, Newegg just came with it again... :D
