DNS-321 is incompatible with OneNote
« on: January 12, 2009, 01:20:57 PM »

Ive had to turn off oplocks because of problems with Excel and other programs. But even with oplocks off, OneNote still has problems. I found the reason why:

See item #3. My DNS-321 is becoming less and less useful every day. But that seems par for the course for every D-Link item I've ever bought. I decided to give D-Link a try again after a 2 year ban - but looks like D-Link is going back on our "no buy" list.

I don't see what the post you linked has to do with the DNS-321...

Sorry, its item 2, not 3:

"On your networked hard drive or SAMBA share sections disappear (and other issues including possible corruption)

    * This applies to things like the Western Digitals "My Book", iomega, Maxtor, Buffalo, Linksys, DLink  networked hard drives. "

I can confirm the DNS-321 has this issue.
