D-Link 625, home network and internet

Afternoon All,
I have a D-link 625 on my home network which connects fine to my computer and printer, I use a usb internet stick for the web which works fine.

Problem is I can,t have both at the same time,if the router is powered up the web pages and email refuse to come thru.Seems the computer expects the internet from the router instead of the usb stick.

Could anyone help please ?                Thanks Mike
