Try setting a Static reserved IP address for ALL of your wired and wireless devices in the router. Set the devices to Obtain IP addressing automatically. Let us know how this works out.

Hi tedstir,

What version of DIR-655 do you own? Are all devices connected to the Internet going through the DIR-655 Router? If not, describe your Network.

Hi tedstir,

What version of your Router are you using? Hardware Revision are A1; A2; A3; A4 and B1.

What operating systems and Service Pack Level are installed on each computer?

Sounds like more of a Windows issue than the router.  Are these Windows 7 machines using a Homegroup?  What permissions did you set on the shared folders?

Router is Revision A4.  I am using Win 7 SP1 on all machines.  Permissions were "Full, everyone."

So, none of your wired PC's can transfer files... sounds like a firewall issue on the wired pc's
