connecting network radio
« on: March 21, 2011, 05:14:15 PM »

Cannot connect network radios after upgrading to latest firmware. Could connect before upgrading firmware but throughput was slow for computers and streaming. Now I can connect computers, but not radios.  They connect ok using Belkin and Linksys routers.

What wireless modes are you using on the router? Mixed? Try single mode G with out any security to test.

Thanks for responding. When I go to G only and no security, I am able to connect, get the IP and listen to the radio. Could not get the IP when using G and using WPA security.

Is your device your connecting to the router able to support and connect using the WPA security modes? I presume it should. Since the device is connecting with out any security, the router and WiFi is working. Need to make sure the device supports WPA or some form of security seen in the router settings.

Devices are able to connect to 2 other routers using WPA. The DLink router sees the devices on the status screen, but the devices are not able to get the IP to complete the connection and make them functional.
