router showing no network access with utorrent

i have a dir-615 router which i bought about 6 months ago. lately the router seems to be timing out on its own with a little yellow triangle showing no network access. trying 19.168.0.1 doesnt show the dlink access page either. the only way to get to the router to work is restarting the router by unplugging the power cord. i use a windows 7 ultimate x64 system and my router has the foll.
Hardware Version: C2     Firmware Version: 3.03WW
utorrent seems to be the major cause for this as the connection seems to time out soon after starting utorrent.will updating the firmware help? pls help!
