I recently went into my router and (hoping I did it right) changed my security settings so that my router is WEP protected. I was having issues with somebody feeding off on my connection and causing problems with my Internet provider. I had changed it to be a secured network before but somehow it became unsecured. So, I set up an admin password and such so nobody else should be able to get into my outer (I guess).

Anyway, after setting it up to with the WEP, now I cannot access the Internet from any other device except my main PC to which the router is connected.

I usually get some sort of error stating that there is "limited on no connectivity" when I try to connect my laptop or Archos Home Tablet device. Yet, is reads that the signal strength is excellent and recognizes my network as existing. How can I fix this?

I would go back in and change the security from WEP to WPA or WPA2. It's possible that your wireless devices do not support the older WEP security. Besides WPA and WPA2 are more secure than WEP. WEP can be easily hacked. And yes, you need to put a password for the routers web page so no one else can get access to it besides you.

Already set up a password for the router page, everything's cool in that way. My devices worked fine with WEP before so I don't see how that could be an issue.

I know WPA is stronger but setting these up at all is like typing to learn hieroglyphics for me. So I went with the easiest option at least the one I thought I could understand or figure out.

well if you can get a PC set up, it's possible for someone to remote in to you system, if you approve and we could help you out.

The PC is set up. This could be an option for me.

On the wireless pc you are trying to connec to the router go to the network settings and delete all of the stored wireeless connections.  the next time it tries to connect you should get a message to input the key.
another way to do this is, on the page that shows limited or no connectivity, select REPAIR connection.  This will release the network and attempt another connection.  you should be asked for the network key again.

Hope it works for you.

brad - not seeing any way to do any of your suggestions regarding deleting stored connections. Doesn't seem like there is an option for that. There is no repair option on the page I bring up, just refresh and it just brings up the same screen.
