New Subject: 450 Mbps Wireless Connections
« on: March 24, 2011, 09:41:38 AM »

Hi All,

I know that this Router of D-Link DIR-655 can't handle 450 Mbps Wireless Connection.

What is the newest D-Link Router available that can handle 450 Mbps Wireless Connection? Does the Network Wireless Adapters need to be change to achieve this?

I would say if your going to get a TrendNet adapter I would get a TrendNet Router that is in the same family as the adapter.  Matched equipment always works best.

Hi davevt31,

Thanks for the reply. I did not post the information to get a TrendNet Router or Adapter. I was inquiring if anyone in the know, knows if D-Link is coming out with a Faster Wireless Router, now that the competition is now faster than D-Link has going for it. And do we need to replace the Adapter as well to achieve that speed, even though we currently own a Fast D-Link DWA-552 Adapter?

I see.  You probably wouldn't see 450 using the DLink adapter, it all depends on the method TrendNet uses to achieve 450.
