1.22 Wishlist? Router Settings "SNAPSHOT"

I am wondering if there will be a new wishlist for the next firmware?

1) I think that a "SNAPSHOT" of the rouers settings would be of great use to everyone here when trying to troubleshoot.
2) Being able to have the log only record / display info per IP

What do you mean by snapshot? you can back the configuration for the unit up.

would be good to have log options to include debug info

also you may want to add an option in the menu to enable/disable a special port on the router for debug
e.g: telnet 192.168.0.1 999999
show config ...
show log entries ...
show open ports
whatever commands you may want including registers reading and so on and so forth

SNAPshot meaning when we have an issue here in the forums we can past a text file of the routers settings so that you or others can help with the troubleshooting.

The main reason is beacuase most people don't put all relavent info regarding their network setup and the respondants seem to get frustrated asking a whole bunch of questions regarding the setup. Instead of the lazy man's approach for asking for help...which is like "My wireless n adapter doesn't connect at 300Mbps and yes all the settings are right." With the snapshot we can easily see wether they errantly set the transmission rate to "1". etc.

I feel this will help you guys out a lot and many perceived issues will disappear into the sunset.
