First post, looking for answers.

Hello gang,
Nice forum!
I am the proud new owner of a slightly used DIR-655.
I have no literature, nor do I have any experience with D-Link products.
Here is my issue, I hope that someone could point me in the right direction.

I have Hughes internet (sad but true),  I have the modem connected to my Netgear WPNT835 router.
I share the access with 6 other guys here, and use MAC address authentication, and WEP not broadcasting the SSID. I want to use the D-Link as an access point, (repeater to extend the range). I do not know how to configure the D-Link for this. Can anyone give me a hand with this?
Thanks in advance.

This it? Do I have to put the d-link mac address I to the netgear?
It just sounds too simple, but I'll try!
Thanks!

Thanks guys for the answers. I wasn't sure if I could do that or not.
So, what equipment do I need to do this?

On another note, how would you guys compare the DIR-655 to the Netgear RangeMax WPNT834 ?
If the D-Link is better, I would replace the NG with the DL, but not sure which one is better.

Thanks again......... ::)
