Hi All,
I'm trying to get the UPnP server working on the DNS-323 (FW v 1.09). I have about 10 mpeg (mpeg-2) videos in a directory on the NAS, and I have the UPnP enabled and set to the directory (not root). The server indexes the directory, and I can see the video files, but I can only play a couple of them, and not consistently.
I have a Sony SMP-N100 network player I'm trying it on, and I have also installed Boxee on the computer and both have problems playing files through the NAS UPnP service. If I browse to the NAS directory with boxee (bypassing UPnP) it can play the same files.
Any ideas? I've heard of some folks installing twonky to get around the weak dlink UPnP server. Is there any hope of getting it to work with the native UPnP server?
TIA,
Walter
