Hi,
I have the DIR-655 router replacing my linksys G. Im having some issues with the wireless portion.
I know that wired vs wireless always results in a faster wired performance, but Im a little confused as I am getting worse speed than on my Linksys 54G.
I am using an Intel 3945 card with the latest intel drivers.
Here is a bit of my log:

The reboots are non stop (I just didnt want to post the whole thing) there a duplicate of the above log).
I dont seem to be getting kicked off the network. I had the Deathentication error & followed the forums advice using the two MS patches & the driver getting updated.

That isnt an issue anymore (just to give some background).
As a speed test, I went here
http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/Games/Pages/legoindianajonesoa.aspx to download from download.microsoft.com (a known fast server).
On my wired desktop connection to the 655, I am getting 1500KB/Sec. Once thats cancelled I tried to do the same thing on my laptop & I am getting 120kb/sec. This is less than 10% of the wired connection.
My results on the linksys 54G were about 900kb/sec (during a test just now).
Any ideas on what I can do?
My setup is as follows;
Firmware Version: 1.21 Hardware Version: A4
Channel 11
20 Mhz
Transmission - automatic
Security - WPA - Personal
WPA Only
TPIK
DNS Relay Enabled
WAN Traffic Shaping
Enable Traffic Shaping: YES
Automatic Uplink Speed : NO
Manual Uplink Speed : 2048kbps
Connection Type : Cable
Detected xDSL or Other Frame Relay Network : No
QoS Engine Setup
Enable QoS Engine : YES
Automatic Classification : YES
Dynamic Fragmentation : YES
No Rules entered
Wifi Protected Enabled: Yes (though I am not using it for anything)
Thanks,
Rich
