Wireless Celestron Telescope Connection w/DIR-655?
« on: April 24, 2011, 01:10:37 PM »

I have a new Celestron computerized telescope that can be controlled by a PC.  I also have a DIR-655 router gathering dust right now, and I want to connect it to the telescope via Ethernet cable, and communicate with the router using my computer in the house and it's wireless adapter.  Is this possible with the DIR-655 itself, or do I need another D-Link product instead or in addition?  Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.

This router will work well with what you have.
Setup the WiFi for Single mode G or Mixed G and N.
Use WPA/WPA2 security for the the WiFi.
