Support for Boot PXE?
« on: May 02, 2011, 07:14:18 PM »

I'm trying to use fog on my network (http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeghost/), but I'm not seeing anything for PXE in the router config anywhere.

Since the router is doing DHCP, I can't use FOG as the DHCP server.

Not sure if any of these routers have any UI or support for PXE.  :-\

That's really unfortunate that a higher end router doesn't support PXE options/DNS Masque.

Really wish I could put DD-WRT on here.

These routers are designed to be for Home and small business users. Not a lot of call for specialized options like PXE. I would recommend if you need these specialized options that there are probably other routers out there that handle this.

Well, could set one of them up to be the PXE router and still use the 655 as your main ISP router.

ISP modem-->655---switch-->WRT router with PXE
                                     -->connected devices
