Hello every new to the forum and I have a question about transfer speeds.. i hope this is the correct location.
Hard ware in question
Dlink 655 Rev B1 firm 2.00NA

Laptop
Alienware M11x R3
intel ultimate N 6300 wireless card

Hard drive
Fantom 1TB

If I try and transfer files I am getting about 1.5MB transfer speeds.. Is that correct feels kinda slow?
Thanks for your help

One way to test this out is to connect the external drive to a PC with out any extra software running and check the speeds there. See what you find and compare to Shareport USB
