With all other devices turned off, does the BD player cause the router to reboot if the WiFi is set for single mode G only with no security just to test? Yes, it would be beneficial to see if it does the same on a LAN connection as well. Let us know.

In the router settings, double check thaon on the Advanced>Advanced Wireless that WMM is enabled.  On the WISH page, make sure that WISH is enabled and all three Priority Clssifiers are checked.
