So this morning I went to download a backup of the firmware. I pointed my web browser at the IP of the management interface and the site never loaded.
About 60 seconds later I noticed that one of my VMs on the SAN was slow and eventually stopped responding. Eventually I could hear users in other offices asking one another if the CRM is down and if email is working.
I went to the server room, looked at the SAN and ALL the HDD activity lights were showing no activity.

I found this nearly impossible as there are servers here that are hosted on this SAN and are in use 24/7. There is -always- activity on this SAN.
I closed my web browser and the SAN eventually came back to life on its own.
I'm running firmware 2.8.0.48 - does anyone know what could cause this? Or, is this what I can expect from a cr@ptastic D-Link product?
