I need a bit of help please!
I thought I would help a friends company provide secure access to their video surveillance system by putting in a DFL-210, but I have run into a couple of issues.
They are using Clear Wireless and they don't have a "real" network internally, more like a home network, all running OSX except for two windows machines. NO server etc...
Clear does not provide a transparent bridge, but a very poor router that NATs the assigned static ip.
The port forwarding works, but the DHCP only will provide two addresses no matter what you set it to.
I am hoping that somebody can help me with ideas on how to configure the DFL-210 to provide access to the video server via HTTP/S and remote access via VPN.
I would rather not NAT a NAT but I don't think I have a choice, but am really looking for thoughts on how to configure this firewall for the best solution.
Thanks ahead of time.
Please let me know if you need more information.
This is really a very simple network (7 machines, 1 network printer) outside of the issues that the Clear cause.
Thanks
