 Is there away to enable bridge mode on the 655_revB hardware ?

I have seen references to the function being accessible  on the original 655 either by using early firmware or accessing it as a hidden feature by disabling visual styles..

But it seems neither of these option are available using the revB hardware or it's web interface..

is it something I'm missing or is there a hidden page etc in the interface on the revB that would allow me to configure and use the 655_revB in bridge mode ?

Yes there is depending on how you want to bridge. Where I live my isp changed from PPPOE to PPPOA and it rendered my router useless for bidge mode. What I did was change my tg782t PPP and back to PPPOE and then put it back into bridge mode. I then set my dir655 to PPPOE username in the internet connection so I could open single ports again and it worked. I hope this helps you out if you're in Australia

Actually I'm referring to both. Since then I have bought another modem/router and I'm bridging my dir655 to it as well running two networks and all 14 itmes on my network are all working as I want them to. Even Wake on Lan for the first time since I bought the other modem/router

Well maybe you got it running well for you then the way you have it.
Most preferred network platforms are to have a dedicated ISP modem, with out router built in.
Then have a dedicated router, like the 655.
Then maybe have extenders or relays like DAP units to help extend the range of the WiFi.
Most Dlink routers I've worked with are just meant to work as the main WiFi station and attach other relays or APs too.
