Hi,
I have two Dlink DGL-4300's. One it hooked up to the Internet, and working fine as a normal wireless router. On this I'm using WEP security and have WDS enabled, with the MAC address on the other router configured...
The other router I want to act as a wireless brigde / switch. It has a two machines connected to it on LAN ports - a MAC and a Drobo NAS device - connected the two up like this to use GB Ethernet - I want it to bridge all traffic not between these two across to the first router, via wireless, but can't figure out how to do it using the DGL-4300 web GUI.
Things I've tried on the second router but no success yet;
- Basic Networking: Disable DHCP, assign static IP address 192.168.0.2
- Advanced wireless - enabled WDS, give it MAC address of the first router
Can't see anything else to get it to work in "bridge mode".
Firmware on both routers is DGL-4300-v1.9b08-20081015.bin
Any hints much appreciated.
