Dir 655 router & DCS 932L Camera
« on: July 08, 2011, 02:47:01 PM »

I can't seem to be able to view my camera for more than a minute outside my fire wall. UnPn is enabled but the issue still exists. Can anyone help me please?
Thanks.

What ISP service do you have? DSL or Cable?
What ISP modem do you have? Stand alone or does it have a built in router by chance?

Setup Reserved (Static) IP addresses on the router for your devices.
Ensure DNS IP addresses are being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual.
Ensure Advanced DNS Service is disabled if you have this option.
Ensure DNS Relay is enabled.

How are you connecting to the 655? Wired or Wireless?
What wireless modes are you running? Mixed? Single? Try single mode G or Mixed G and N if you have N supported devices.
What FW version is currently loaded?
Any cordless phones in the house?
