DIR-655 and Dell Wireless 1702 bgn
« on: July 26, 2011, 08:35:24 AM »

I have DIR-655 and Dell notebook with 1702 802.11 b/g/n adapter. I can not get better speed then 65Mbps. Can somebody help me to resolve this issue?

DIR-655 has next settings for its wireless:
802.11g/n mixed mode
transmission rate: best
channel width: auto 20/40MHz
and WPA2 with AES

I tried with only 802.11n mode but nothing changes.

Double check the adapter settings too.  Using the Device Manager, select your Network Adapter, right click and select Properties.  Go through the Advanced tab and check your settings there.

These are the settings there:
802.1b preamble: short and long
Receive buffers: 256
Scan valid interval: 60
Transmit buffers: 512

What I have to look for?
