I need to do phase two of my Gamefuel vs Gaming (port forwarding) tests. I had assumed with my prior tests that without any kind of forwarding or UPnP I wouldn't get a Type 2 NAT, but I was wrong. So I am going to repeat the tests with a actual port scanner.

Ok, was curious about it. Well glad it working for you man. Enjoy it now. Maybe we can play BO sometime. Even though I hate that game.   :P Been playing MW2 lately. Such a fun game.  ;D

Sounds good Furry I am sure you are popular guy but if you have room go ahead and send me an FR @ XS Strength.  I have MW2 too but that was my first experience to online gaming and boy was I embarrassing!
Anyway, why do you hate BO?

How some of the maps are set up. Game play and experiences. Just isn't as fun as MW2 for some reason. Played MW2 last nite and even though we lost a few games, still had a better time playing it over BO. BO is ok I guess. I do like the RC car and Crossbow. I think they did some things to some of the guns that are not realistic as they were in MW2. Ya, alot has to to with my abilities too. Yes some has to do with other players to. I really wish they would take out O scoping and the running class or at least limit the running class some how. Thats not realistic. My 2 Cents.
Of course, having a good time helps if you can get friends together that play well and communicate and work as a team.  ;D

Just wanted to update on one of my earlier posts concerning manual vs auto upload speed.
Here is my findings:
I ran several and I mean several different speed tests and ping tests with this set to manual 2meg UL and with it set to auto where my speed boost would indicate I have 5meg UL.

At first I thought I was on to something because my first runs showed a lower jitter on ping test but as I ran more of them it was just coincidence and results ended up the same.  Obviously my upload speed was capped at 2 meg so that's where it maxed out on speedtest.net.

Now in game (XBL), I really did not see that much of performance difference, however I did notice with my upload speed capped my bandwidth in blacks would not max out at 10000Kbps on the options screen.  I also noticed I would not get host as much with my upload speed capped at 2meg.

Conclusion, I left this setting to auto to help me get host more since when I do get host 9/10 times I have an awesome connection with zero lag.

Another update, this time I tested over a few weeks.  I changed my upload speed from auto to manual and entered 3096M since my upload speed can provide a consistent 2.2M upload.  However I noticed if I manually entered 2.2M, that the D-link router would limit the upload to ~1.8.  So I chose 3Meg so I always get 2.2meg upload.
Anyway, I ran the D-link router this way for a couple of weeks and I noticed Black Ops did not run as smoothly as before.  Just a little more lag and WTH moments, not much but noticeable.
I changed it back to "auto" and BO ran better, I am not sure why since 2meg upload should be sufficient to run this game.  Maybe with all the interactive maps and theater mode, Bops will have a occasional spike in needed bandwidth?
Anyway, just wanted to share some more experiences with you guys.

I'll give that a go when I get home today and see. I've always been using Manual. Mines set for 4096 right now I think.
