Hi,

My DIR-615 was working for months but then it unexpectedly stopped.  So I tried re-linking, but Windows can't find the certificate to log onto the network.  I found the network fine but I can't find anything that lets me input the WEP key.

Perhaps I need to reset it up on the main computer?  But I don't know how to find the IP address or the MAC address.

Can someone please help me?

Thank you.

What Windows version are you using?
What web browser are you using? Try a different one like Opera or FF?
You can reset the router to factory by hitting the button in back for about 15 seconds. Then open a browser and type in 192.168.0.1. Log in with out a PW. You'll need to reset up the Wireless section and possibly your ISP connection the the ISP modem.

Some pointers:
What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router?
What ISP Modem make and model do you have?

Ensure DNS IP addresses are being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual?
Turn off QoS options.
Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option Setup/Internet/Manual.
Turn on DNS Relay under Setup/Networking.
Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices on the router under Setup/Networking.
Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
Set Firewall settings to Endpoint Independent for TCP and UDP under Advanced/Firewall.

What wireless modes are you using?
Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using?? Preferred is WPA-Personal  and Cipher type to Auto or AES only if your device support this.

Windows XP with Service Pack 3.
Google Chrome.  Not sure what difference the browser would make.

Cable ISP.
Stand alone modem.

I used WEP same as before, because WAP was not working for me.

Another post recommends turning off the IEEE 802.1x authentication.  I tried this and I got the message, little or no connectivity.

I would try some of the recommendations I posted.

if the wireless security settings is already set to WEP and you already disable the IEEE.. you can also try to change the wireless channel
