I picked up one of the refurb deals at CompUSA.com and I'm glad that I did.
I also have a DGL-4500 as my gaming router but man, this little 601 is one solid router! I don't know how long it will handle our traffic (family of 4 often all online at same time) but I've been very pleased with it at only $14.99 plus shipping.
Setup was easy using the installation CD. The only pain was that it reboots after every save. You can't save and "reboot later" like you can on the DGL-4500.
It seemed like it ran warm at first and I'll have to monitor that. I just checked it and it's cool, but not under much of a load now, either.
No buffering when watching youtube, no lag playing Black Ops on XBOX Live. I am running it wired on XBL.
