Be able to see easily NAS ressources with graph like (CPU/MEMORY/NETWORK utilization) on the right of the page (under the "Storage Status" for exemple).

Below is a summary of everyone's input thus far. Please let me know if I over-generalized, misrepresented, or overlooked anyone's concerns and I'll refresh the list with updates. Recent additions/changes are highlighted in
blue. Items addressed on the latest firmware are striked out.

If any items in the wishlist were fixed by the latest firmware, please post and I'll update!

Note: This firmware wishlist was developed before DNS-325 firmware version 1.02b03 was removed from circulation. As such, functionality labeled as "FIXED" is presently not available in the currently available firmware. Improvement for P2P applications:
Currently only allows 20 and 10 simultaneous downloads torrents.
When these 20 finished downloading the torrent program does not burden the Folder "torrent", having to manually delete the list (100%) to load the other torrent.
This slows down the massive download torrents

Are you looking for an option to automatically delete torrents upon completion and add the next one in the queue so there are always 20 simultaneous downloads running until the queue is empty?  ???

Helo everybody!!

I'm new to the NAS scene and made a nice deal with a new DNS-325.

I've been reading this post and somewhere someone asked for subtitle support in video streaming but I don't see it on the master list.

I'd like to see the 325 with this funcionality.

DLNA - Suport for video/subtitle streaming (*.srt;*.sub)

Hi again.

Thank you for adding my request to the master list.
Today i noticed that the UPnP AV server is unable to stream *.mkv and *.tiff. to my tv and my ps3.
Is this true or am I doing something wrong.
If it's true i'd like to add this feature to the "christmas wishes" list.  ;)

Thanks for your input. I'll need at least one other DNS-325 owner to validate this before adding to the list.  ???

I can say this is correct for mkv files, don't know for tiff.
I also had mentioned the management of .srt subtitle files by the DNs's DLNA server.

There is one feature that I would find very valuable. Not sure if it is already in the list.

The backup feature (LAN from PC to DNS) should be able to continue the backup from the point it was executing, in case the backup was interrupted, for example, if the PC was shut down in the middle of the process. Currently, the DNS window show that the backup "Failed", and reschedules the backup (in case it is configured that way) for the next date in the schedule. In this way, you may end up with incomplete backups over and over again, and so not having a valid backup at all. The "ideal" way would be that the backup would restart as soon as the PC is detected on line again.

Agree that the list is growing way to fast, and updates are coming was too slow. ::) ::)
