Two IP's on DMZ interface as gateway
« on: September 16, 2011, 09:06:51 AM »

Is it possible to have two different IP addresses with two different masks working at the same interface?

Currently my adress and netmask are 192.168.7.1 and 192.168.7.0/24 (Computers use 192.168.7.1 as gateway)
I want to simultaneously use 192.169.0.1 network 192.169.0.0/24 and use this IP adress as gateway on the computers that belong to the new network range.

I've tried following hints from this topic but din't get too faar:

Interfaces > ARP
Add ARP publish on DMZ with address 192.168.0.1

Routing > Routing tables > main
core 192.168.0.1 0
dmz 192.168.0.0/24 100

Rules > IP rules
Make necessary rules
