Cannot get media extender to turn on to the main screen

Just changed to a windows 7 based pc. Media extender has been a problem ever since. It keeps diconnecting and I have to continuously recinfigure. No I can't even get it to the main screen to configure. Seems it freezes up before it gets to the menu screen. Now I get a start up message to update with a usb plug, or option to reboot. When I reboot it goes back to the same problems.

Also this product is no longer supported.
