New Egg no longer supplying the DNS-320?
« on: October 04, 2011, 09:33:01 AM »

I went to new egg today to potentially pick up another DNS-320. My device is working great on my network now that I figured out my DHCP issues.

Well, the product page along with the customer reviews has been removed from New Egg. The page says: "D-Link DNS-320-110 1TB 2-Bay Network Storage with USB Printer Port

OUT OF STOCK.

DEACTIVATED. This item is currently out of stock and it may or may not be restocked."

Is this a red flag with the DNS-320? potentially a support issue?

I wouldn't read too much into this. The DNS-320-110 1TB contains pre-installed HDDs and is a different part number from the standard DNS-320. If you've noticed, the diskless DNS-320 was never offered on NewEgg and the fact that they aren't carrying the pre-populated version could mean anything from poor sales to having had a limited quantity which ran out.
