Good day all. First of all I would like to apologize for posting this thread in this category. For whatever the reason may be, I can't seem to find a category for my router/modem.

I just purchased a Dlink DSL-2750U today which I am using with my ADSL connection. I have three wired computers using this connection and no wireless systems at the moment. I would like to know if it's possible to share the bandwidth evenly amongst these three computers? The other two computers are hogging on the bandwidth leaving me with barely anything to work with.

I am not sure if this particular model supports what I am after but I am hoping it does!

I would refer you to the QoS section of the Modem/Router and use this feature to ensure that all devices get equal bandwidth while online at the same time.

Is there a tutorial or a manual available which can help me configure QoS? Something which explains what all the available differentiated service code points are, etc?

Is there a PDF manual for this modem on DLinks site? I would refer you to that.
There are some examples of using QoS on DIR and DGL routers over on the DGL-4500 forum however I'm not sure if your MODEM has the same UI or not. The data might work in the same way. I'd have to see the UI on your device to see how a user would input data and configure it.

I would call up DLink on this one. I don't have any experience on this device yet and seems a bit complicated.
Where are you located?
I'm wondering if a stand alone ISP modem and stand alone router would be better for you. Seem like this UI is a bit over done.

Read through the manual real quick, and looks like its possible, which is rare fir a router. Its possible because it isn't controlling NAT sessions, its controlling the ATM session itself between the router and the modem. Handy.

You probably want to fallow page the instructions on page 26 to configure different ATM sessions for each interface. Hopefully your ISP allows this. Next, check page 69-71 of manual and see where to set the priority for those interface. There is alot going on here, and I am not familiar with this process. I would suggest contact Dlink, but you will be very lucky if you get anyone in normal technical support that would know about this. Wish I had better news for you. Its going to take some trial and error.
