Connect with telnet
« on: October 23, 2011, 04:56:29 AM »

I would like to connect to the router with telnet.
It does have telnet and it is active just some time after restart.
The problem is that it won't let me in.
Code: [Select]
rasmus@Rasmus-Ubuntu:~$ telnet 192.168.1.100
Trying 192.168.1.100...
Connected to 192.168.1.100.
Escape character is '^]'.

Connection closed by foreign host.
As you see it never let me write the password before it say Login incorrect.

Does anyone know how to access the shell?

It doesn't. The router clearly supports telnet on port 23 it is just locked.

And I'm not interested in remote desktop or such. I want CLI access to my router.

I tried to shell inject the ping box but it seems to sanitize that :/
Code: [Select]
;/bin/ls

Ping Result : Time out
